Tula – Is It Really Worth The Hype?

Hello, Friends! As promised I am going to write an honest review on the Tula starter kit I got a few weeks ago! To be honest I was VERY skeptical about the product because everyone and their dog promotes it. But honestly it did everything it said it would.. and that’s why everyone promotes it haha! It’s definitely pricier but you get what you pay for. I’m all about saving money and bargain shopping, but Tula is definitely something I would splurge on because it’s just that good. I am going to breakdown each product for you guys that I received in my kit and all of these products you would want to use morning and night for the best results. If you click on this link you can get 20% off your entire purchase if you’re a new customer!

First up is the Purifying Face Cleanser. For the past few months I have been using a foaming face cleanser so I was pretty thrown off when I poured some of this product on my hand. It’s kind of a.. goopy? consistency and thick. I found it helps a ton if you rub it between your hands really good before applying it to your face. It helps lather it up so you can evenly spread it on your face and neck (everyone else washes their neck, right?). I know in my But First.. Skin Care! post I said I don’t think electronic brushes are necessary for washing your face but it might work a little better with a product of this consistency. This cleanser would be good for you if you have oily, dry, combo, or sensitive skin. It’s really universal! The probiotics in this (and all their products) really helps lock in moisture to hydrate your skin all day.

Next is the Pro-Glycolic Resurfacing Gel – AKA your toner. At first I didn’t think I liked this product but I found out I just wasn’t using enough. I was trying to be careful with how much product I used since I did start out with a travel size kit and it didn’t look like there was a lot in the bottle. But that deff wasn’t the case. I have used 5-6 pumps on my face morning and night and I still have more than half the bottle left. When I started using more I fell in love with the product! It glides on your skin so smoothly and you can really feel the product absorb into your skin. I just put one pump at a time on a cotton ball and apply it all over my face and neck. For example, one pump for my right cheek. One pump for my left cheek. Then one pump for my chin and upper lip.. one pump for my nose and, well you probably catch my drift haha! This does sting just a little over open blemishes but to be honest I think 99% of skin care products are like that but that’s how you know it’s working. It burns so goood! HA!

Then I use a tiny, itty bitty amount of the Revitalizing Eye Cream. The smallest amount goes a really long way so this product would last you forever! This product is to refresh and wake up your eyes. Before I started using this product I didn’t realize that the skin around my eyes was super dry. I notice a HUGE difference with the texture of my under eyes after using this for a few weeks! I just tap it on my under eye, and leave it for a few seconds before I rub it in. I like to put a little on my eye lid but I don’t grab any additional product. Just sort of push the remaining product up there. I feel like my eyes look more awake and smooth and I even noticed that my eye shadow looks a lot better!

The last product I use is by far my favorite and that’s the Hydrating Day & Night Cream. A little bit of this goes a really long way so again, will last you a while. I use about a dime size amount and it is enough to apply on my face and neck. This would be perfect for you if you have super dry skin. It is so hydrating and your face stays moisturized throughout the whole day. Even if you have oily or combo skin, this is perfect too. It doesn’t feel oily after it’s applied so it won’t look like built up oils throughout the day like some moisturizers do!

If you’re on the fence about spending this much on all of the products, just try out one for now! If I had to pick one or two of these that are a MUST it would be the Revitalizing Eye Cream and the Hydrating Day & Night Cream. Since they have travel sized products you can try it out before you buy it, like I did! As usual, let me know if you try out the products and enjoy them! I love to hear what you like/didn’t like about the products I review.

Send me your recommendations for products you’d like me to try and write about. I love that ish too.

xoxo, cakes
